Speaking at a panel session at the National Summit on Indian Infrastructure for Viksit Bharat 2047 by the India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL) on Monday, Rajender Kumar, member (finance), the National Highways Authority of India said NHAI not only give a grant upfront to the concessionaire but also return the money arranged by the concessionaires with interest, making HAM costly.
