Securitization volumes soared 80% year-on-year to Rs 68,000 crore in the December quarter. Icra has revised the total volumes for this financial year to Rs 2.4 lakh crore from the previous estimate of Rs 2.1 lakh crore. Private sector banks' participation has driven these volumes, with continued sell-downs of portfolios facilitating overall growth.
