The Reserve Bank of India will introduce a name look-up facility for RTGS and NEFT systems by April 1, 2025. This will allow remitters to verify the beneficiary's name, reducing errors and fraud. National Payments Corporation of India will develop this feature, which will be available through Internet banking, mobile banking, and bank branches.
